Uplighting
Uplighting by Boston Uplights--no paper lanterns though as there are chandelieres in the ballroom. We'll use amber, blue, and pink uplighting colors that will change throughout the evening.
Favors
Favor boxes ordered from beau-coup. com, ribbons from Michael's Craft Stores. These will be filled with Lindt chocolate truffles. (EDIT: It took many hours to tie the bows on 90 of these!) If you're doing it--get lots of helpers or do a few at a time over a couple of days.
Cocktail Napkins & Matches
Ordered from beau-coup.com. We ordered 400 of the cocktail napkins to use during the cocktail hour and we're passing out the matches with our 20" sparklers at the end of the evening for our "sparkler send off", (see below).
Sparklers for the Big 'Send-Off'
Purchased these 20" gold sparklers from www.sparklersrus.com. They had the best prices, free shipping, and they arrived less than a week from when they were ordered.
Centerpiece Inspiration
Our wonderful florist put together this 'prototype' based upon our discussions. We like things that look very 'natural' and incorporate our 'sunflowers'. We purchased the 8" bubble bowls from Michaels' Craft Stores, then she filled them with rocks, water, and moss. She also used sunflowers, blue delphennium, daisies, ferns, and willow branches to complete the centerpiece. We'll have dark centered sunflowers instead, but the centerpieces will look very similar to this picture.
Will also use clear votive holders/ivory candles around the arrangements, and gold chargers under the plates.

Linens
We're renting ivory table linens with Navy Blue napkins and Chair Bows.
Cake Topper
Willow Tree Cake Topper, purchased at Hallmark store.
Cake Inspiration
Three-tier golden vanilla cake with strawberry & raspberry fillings. Design is 'similar, but not exactly, like this. The cake will have ivory frosting with a sage green ribbon around the bottom of the layers. The frosting design will be a fern-like design in ivory and fresh flowers added for decoration.
Birdcage
To be used for cards at the reception. I purchased the cage at the Christmas Tree Shop in Nashua, and found a 'fake moss' liner to use in the bottom at a craft supply store, (Gendron Trading, Bedford, NH). I plan to make a "CARDS" sign and tie it to the top using navy satin ribbon.
